Just post a lesson you've learned in RuneScape from experience. Ok, so I'll go first. When I first became a member a few years ago, I took up Treasure Trails. This was pretty good money, but Lvl 1 Clues were getting a bit boring so I killed guards in Varrock Castle and got a Lvl 2 Clue scroll . So I set off to solve it and the reward for the clue turns out to be Ranger boots ;D. I sold the boots for 1.3M back then and thought I could turn that into 2M by spinning Flax. So I bought 13K flax and decided to go with my friend to Tzhaar Area to try my luck at getting an Obsidian Cape, the FIRST monster I killed dropped a cape, man was this my lucky day eh? I then saw my friend DIE and lose alot of valuable items, so I run over and pick up his items then try to kill the monster that killed him but I end up dead aswell! Losing 13k Flax but keeping my Obby Cape . So the moral of the story is... Don't take 13K Flax into a fight with a giant lava monster.

I have a few, never fight your IRL brother in pvp when he's almost same combat level, I lost 13.9m from this, and in the same day, I loose 2m from afking at bandits, and thirdly, also in the previous day, i lost 8million crafting diamonds, great! ;D

The Grand Exchange is like a stock market, so it gives me good beginner experience when I want to go to a real stock market later. I do understand that on the real stock market making profit will be much more harder than the GE, but it will be a real challenge for me.

Thats a good way to look at it Firestorm, but I have another lesson... don't play Penguins Attack TD 2 while training against aggresive monsters. Money tends to be lost.
