hi this is a short guide which shows possibilities to avoid the 4h rule. there are some methods how to create a new item, so that the 4h rule cannot work: 1. Set Merchantingeasy explained: buy all parts of a set(med price), switch it into a set and sell the set in the grand exchange(more than med price). It also works the other way round 2. Decant Merchantingbuy pot x(3)(med price), decant it and sell it as pot x(4)(more than med price). 3. Herblore Merchantingbuy dirty herblores, clean it and sell again. 4. Broken Armor(Barrows)
you can buy broken armor, repair in your house or in lumbridge and sell again(it only makes sense if the repaired version is manipulated, because of costs to repair) 5. Devided armor
you can buy the parts of dragon plate and create the dragon plate by help of another player if you are not smith 99. it also works with dragonfire shields, but before buying, figure out your earn 6. Rechargingsome items are rechargeable, like amulets of glory.Buy the uncharged item, load it up and sell again for a bit higher. It also works for empty bottles, fill them with water and sell again. 7.Crystal Keybuy both parts of the crystal key("tooth half of a key" and "loop half of a key").put them together and sell the crystal key. if you know sth else, just post

Great guide. I rather merchant with the 4 hour rule, because you will waist more time if you merchant without the 4 hour rule (you will make more money without the 4h rule though). But with the new quanity limits set up about 6 months ago, I think it isn't worth it to merchant without the 4 hour rule.

forget barrows, they are manipulated very often. the only barrows set that works well is torag(often better then guthix sets)
i often used f2p sets, even when i was member..^^
